Starting this venture was a leap of faith, driven by three core values that I wanted to bring together – Family, Nature, and Coffee. These three elements are close to my heart, and I wanted to create a coffee experience that not only delights the taste buds but also nourishes the soul.
Family
Bringing family together is at the heart of what we do. There's something magical about sharing moments over a cup of coffee, creating cherished memories, and bringing families together.
Nature
Berkeley has been my second home for over a decade now, and I absolutely love the outdoors – hiking, biking, and walking. However, what I felt was missing from this beautiful setting was a great cup of coffee to complement those incredible experiences. So, the idea of Roaming Bean Coffee was born.
Coffee
Quality is our top priority. We proudly brew coffee from Coava, a Portland-based roaster known for their exceptional beans. For our whole milk drinks, we use Straus Organic Barista Milk, and for those who prefer dairy alternatives, we offer delightful Oat Milk drinks.

Roaming Bean Coffee's new location will be in the Berkeley Marina at 124 University Ave, Berkeley, CA. Free parking lot with ample parking availability. The Marina is easily accessible via public transport. AC Transit’s 51B goes from South Berkeley to the Marina. The bus stops in front of the Bait Shop directly across the street from our boat yard. We are located next to the UC Aquatic Center & Cal Sailing Club.
