Catering & Events
We recommend reaching out at least 2-3 weeks before your event, though we can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines. The sooner, the better — especially for peak season. We’re based in Berkeley and provide full-service mobile espresso catering across the Bay Area and throughout California. We regularly serve events in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Napa, Sacramento, and beyond.
If your event is within driving distance, we can likely make it work — we’ve traveled as far as Modesto, Stockton, and Fresno.

To lock in your date, we require a signed agreement and a deposit. We recommend booking as soon as your date is set, but always feel free to reach out for last-minute availability! Our Drinks
We serve handcrafted espresso drinks — lattes, cappuccinos, cortados, americanos, and more. Every drink is made to order by our baristas.
Yes. We offer hot chocolate, matcha lattes, decaf, and steamed milk drinks. We don't currently serve chai. Oat milk is available as a dairy-free substitute on any drink.
Our house-made cardamom latte is a fan favorite — Berkeleyside called it out as a must-try. We also rotate seasonal syrups, so there's usually something new to discover.
The Cafe
We’re currently open Thursday through Sunday, with plans to expand our days and hours soon. The best way to check is our Google listing (https://maps.app.goo.gl/39MopqL3dFpiCEAm9)— which we keep current.
We're at 124 University Ave, Berkeley, CA 94710 (https://www.google.com/maps/dir//Roaming+Bean+Coffee,+124+University+Ave,+Berkeley,+CA+94710)— next to the UC Aquatic Center at the Berkeley Waterfront. Parking is available in the waterfront lot. AC Transit lines serve University Ave, and the Bay Trail provides bike-friendly access.
We're fully outdoors — an open-air cafe right on the Berkeley Waterfront with bay views and plenty of space to spread out.
We don't. Part of what makes Roaming Bean Coffee different is the experience — real conversation, handcrafted drinks, and a reason to slow down. Come say hello and order in person.
